Ficus benjamin is a very easy plant to grow indoors. It is characterized by the presence of small delicate leaves that grow on the branches. The height varies from 20 centimeters to two meters in height. The plant does not need special care, it lives well even in small spaces, in fact the repotting must be carried out only if necessary, otherwise even if the container seems small compared to the width of the plant, it is suitable for use, since the ficus it is not too demanding. Sometimes, however, it can happen, although the leaves are green, that they come off the branches very easily. If you notice that our plant is losing its leaves, it is necessary to intervene immediately, so as not to find yourself after a few days with a plant completely devoid of foliage.

If you follow the necessary precautions, the plant hardly loses its leaves. The plant should be placed in partial shade especially in summer when the sun's rays tend to burn the leaves if directly affected. In winter it is preferable to expose it in full sun. The waterings are attenuated and spaced in cold periods. Every two weeks the plant must be fed with a liquid nitrogen-based fertilizer. It thrives at room temperature which must always be above 15 °. If the place where it is hosted is warm, the leaves should be sprayed and the pot placed on top of a moist layer of expanded clay. Once a week the plant must be turned 180 ° to allow the leaves to expose equally to the light source.
